A one and one-half inch diameter steel pipe handrail and one and one-half inch steel square metal railing mount to a metal plate or channel stringer. Cable railing is provided per shop drawings by others. The stair connection is bolted with a steel angle anchored to the concrete floor structure. Code compliance notes indicate sphere pass-through limits of six inches, four and three-eighths inches, and four inches for guardrail openings. Side rail height maintains a specified minimum above the finish floor.
