A four-inch minimum thick concrete ramp features an eight-inch by eight-inch thickened edge with a medium broom finish and a one-half-inch bevel at a two-to-one slope. The ramp transitions to a twelve-inch border with quarter-inch by quarter-inch grooves at three-quarters of an inch on center typical. The assembly rests on a prepared subgrade adjacent to natural grade with a concrete curb beyond. Maximum slope for the ramp is one-to-twenty.
