A one-and-a-half-inch diameter painted pipe handrail mounts to a stud wall using a design-build stair manufacturer handrail bracket. The bracket attaches to a one-inch by two-and-a-half-inch by quarter-inch painted plate, which is anchored to the wall using countersunk screws. The assembly maintains specified offsets from the wall surface to the centerline of the handrail.
