A metal stud partition scheduled per plans receives a layer of five-eighths-inch gypsum wallboard on the interior face. A honeycomb panel with Jerusalem limestone stone veneer is mounted to the partition using fastening clips attached to the back of the panel as required. A mitered stone corner finishes the top of the stone base assembly, leaving space for a future finish by others above.
