Ceramic tile is set per Tile Council of North America guidelines with a maximum 2 percent slope to drain. Carpet is installed per the finish schedule on the opposite side of the threshold. An aluminum transition strip joins the two flooring materials, featuring a 1 to 2 slope for a maximum half-inch rise. A door as scheduled is centered above the flooring transition.
