An enlarged stair section features C12x20.7 structural steel channel stringers with a galvanized finish bearing onto concrete foundation elements. The guardrail and handrail assembly consists of 1 1/2 inch standard pipe with rounded and sanded edges, complete with a galvanized finish. Horizontal balusters of 1 1/2 inch diameter are spaced to prevent a 4-inch sphere from passing through. The fabricator is required to provide detailed shop drawings for review prior to fabrication and field measure for exact heights.
