An interior aluminum window frame with flush trim is secured to a metal stud header or boxed header, utilizing double studs at the jamb condition. The surrounding partition is framed with cold-formed steel studs and finished with three layers of 5/8-inch gypsum board on each side, installed perpendicular where required. Four inches of batt insulation is placed within the stud cavity where indicated. A 1/4-inch tempered glazing pane is set into the aluminum frame.
