The guardrail system consists of painted one-and-a-half-inch steel pipe posts and a top guardrail, accompanied by a separate one-and-a-half-inch painted steel handrail mounted on a half-inch diameter steel handrail bracket. Dimensions specify a typical three-foot-six-inch guardrail height, equal spacing between intermediate rails, a maximum four-inch opening between rails, seven-inch maximum risers, and eleven-inch minimum treads.
