A cable bundle passes through a framed partition wall maintaining a UL listing of W-L-3065 with a maximum fill of forty-five percent of the cross-sectional area. The opening includes an optional minimum four-inch diameter steel sleeve penetrating the wall assembly. Mineral wool insulation forming material at a minimum thickness of two and one-half inches is firmly packed into the opening. A minimum one-inch thick layer of sealant is applied within the opening, flush with the surface of the wall on both sides.
