A welded plate with rounded edges and continuous welds provides water deflection at the upper penetration. Sheet metal flashing integral to the coping cap ties into the assembly alongside a sealant bead backed by a backer rod. The concrete curb establishes a minimum four-inch height above the structural slab and metal deck.
