A non-rated fully recessed cabinet is installed within a metal stud partition wall assembly. The surrounding partition is built with minimum six-inch metal studs, with acoustical insulation placed in the cavity where required per the specific partition type. The cabinet housing is framed directly into the wall opening between the metal studs.
