This acoustical roof assembly features an Epic Torris 2 perforated acoustical metal deck with batt insulation in the flutes, topped by a five-eighths inch thick DensDeck board. A six-inch layer of rigid insulation sits above, followed by two layers of five-eighths inch DensDeck roof boards. A Class A PVC roofing system finishes the top layer. The total assembly thickness is ten and three-eighths inches above the top of steel, with a designated STC rating of forty-one per the acoustic engineer.
