An additional layer of gypsum board forms a quarter-inch reveal around the wall opening using a Fry Reglet Z-mold. The rough opening is framed with sixteen-gauge double metal studs attached to vertical studs with tack welds. Standard five-eighths-inch gypsum board clads the assembly, providing dimensional clearances specified on the plan.
