An aluminum storefront door with a sweep is installed above an aluminum threshold set in a full bed of mastic and anchored directly to the concrete slab. The exterior concrete slab transitions to scheduled flooring over the concrete slab on the interior side. A minimum 10-inch vertical dimension is maintained from the slab level to the base of the door framing.
