Dimensional lettering mounts over an insulated sheathed wall via an integrated weatherproofing assembly. A self-adhered flashing membrane such as Perm-A-Barrier Ultra applies directly to the exterior sheathing and integrates with collar flashing at the penetration. A fluid-applied water-resistive barrier and Tyvek Commercial Wrap D separator sheet provide additional moisture protection behind the exterior finish layer. A joint with a three-eighths-inch backer rod and sealant accommodates the letter mounting connection.
