The stair assembly features a hollow structural section steel stringer anchored to the concrete slab via an angle connection at the inside face. The stair treads consist of concrete-filled metal pans, with the concrete held down one-eighth to one-quarter inch to accommodate stone tile finishes. A stone tile transition is provided at the tread edge, which is eased and polished. The riser is constructed from fourteen-gauge steel, and the assembly is finished with a G-15 glass guardrail system. All exposed steel stringer surfaces are painted.
