Four horizontal twelve-gauge seismic splay brace wires anchor to the runner channel with a minimum of four turns per wire within one and a half inches. A metal stud compression strut supports the ceiling assembly, with sizing determined per the schedule. A twelve-gauge vertical hanger wire extends to the underside of the structural framing above. One and a half inch by sixteen-gauge runner channels are spaced at four feet on center, supporting seven-eighths inch twenty-six-gauge hat channels and gypsum board finish.
