A roof drain assembly is recessed within a framed sump and connected to a vertical drain pipe of verified diameter centered in a 30-square opening. The surrounding roof consists of a built-up membrane over plywood sheathing supported by structural framing and a wood or steel ledger. A four-inch fiber cant strip forms the transition at the concrete tilt-up wall panel, which features an overflow scupper positioned two inches above the roofing finish. Wood framing components include two-by-six minimum framing fastened with ten-penny nails at six inches on center staggered, and double two-by-eight minimum framing. Additional notes reference roof plans, plumbing drawings, elevations, and detailing at the drain sump.
