A concrete truck apron featuring a medium broom finish terminates in a thickened edge extending to a minimum depth of six inches at the natural grade. The slab edge includes a tooled one-half inch radius edge adjacent to concrete paving over aggregate base. The assembly bears on natural grade or aggregate base prepared in accordance with the soils report. Below slab preparation and steel reinforcing requirements must comply with the soils report and structural drawings.
