A painted Schedule 40 downspout is secured to an exterior metal shingle wall assembly using a painted steel bracket. The downspout terminates above a linear grate and NDS Duraslope channel drain embedded in a concrete walkway. Sealant and backer rod are applied at the wall-to-drain interface. The concrete walkway is sloped away from the building toward the drain, and a drain pipe continues below the walkway.
