A continuous twenty-two gauge minimum three-inch deep leg deflection track secures to the underside of the non-rated concrete floor or roof at twelve inches on center maximum. Gypsum board and studs remain unattached to the deflection track within the specified deflection zone. A continuous two-inch wide by twenty-two gauge metal strap fastens the top attachment of the studs. The ceiling line terminates below the deflection zone per schedule.
