A one-and-a-half-inch diameter metal handrail is field painted per interiors and set three feet to the stair nosing. A half-inch bent anchor is welded to the handrail and positioned at the center of a three-by-three-by-one-quarter-inch mounting bracket. At concrete walls, the mounting bracket is attached at five feet on-center maximum with a concrete anchor device. At stud walls, the mounting bracket is attached at five feet on-center maximum with quarter-inch lag bolts into blocking.
