Exterior concrete stairs feature a poured-in-place concrete stair and landing assembly sized with an eleven-inch minimum tread depth and a seven-inch maximum riser height. Each tread incorporates a half-inch tooled nosing at the edge. A two-inch minimum width warning stripe in a contrasting color is typical on all exterior treads, positioned one inch from the nosing with a two-inch typical width. An optional steel cast-in-place insert with a black sand finish stripe may be used.
