This assembly consists of a painted steel pipe stair railing system mounted to a structural stair stringer. The handrail and intermediate rail are constructed from one and one-half inch outside diameter steel pipe, typical throughout the run. Vertical pickets support the rails and are anchored to the stair stringer, which is referenced to structural drawings. The railing maintains a minimum height of three feet six inches above the stair tread, with a maximum spacing of four feet between vertical supports.
