The assembly consists of a one and one-half inch diameter stainless steel handrail supported by a bracket with concealed fastening. The bracket is spaced one and one-half inches from the wall surface and is installed at a maximum of eight feet on center. The bracket mounts through the interior finish into a minimum sixteen gauge metal backing plate, which is secured to the wall framing. A metal spacer is positioned between the bracket base and the wall finish to ensure proper clearance and structural alignment.
