A 400S162-54 cold-formed steel horizontal brace spans across metal stud framing and straddles the stud below. The brace fastens to the top track using four number eight sheet metal screws, with two screws on each side of the stud. The metal stud framed wall maintains a spacing dimension ranging from three feet minimum to ten feet maximum.
