An aluminum door frame profile is installed adjacent to steel stud framing. The partition assembly consists of a one-and-one-half-inch cavity space between double studs, faced with five-eighths-inch gypsum board on each side. The aluminum door jamb wraps the edge of the gypsum board finish.
