A continuous one-and-a-half-inch steel tubing handrail is supported by three-eighth-inch hot-dip galvanized and painted steel rods spaced at a maximum of four feet on center. The guardrail assembly is anchored by double one-half-inch by three-inch steel flat bar balusters mounted to two-inch by twelve-inch by one-half-inch thick L-shaped stainless steel supports. Horizontal one-half-inch steel rods run through the assembly, secured by one-half-inch diameter steel bolts with acorn caps. The top of the handrail is set at two feet ten inches, while the top of the guardrail reaches three feet six and one-half inches.
