Two 4 inches by 4 inches by 1/4 inch hollow structural section tube steel posts embed into a 2500 PSI concrete footing. The footing measures 5 feet 6 inches in height with an 18 inch maximum embedment zone and a 2 foot width shown in plan view. Asphalt concrete paving abuts the exterior of the footing per civil plans. A centered gate hinge or roller assembly connects between the structural steel posts above the concrete grade.
