A prefabricated curb sits atop roof sheathing supported by a structural member sized per structural plans. Single-ply roofing extends up the vertical face of the curb and is installed per the manufacturer's specifications. A skylight is mounted over the curb with an approved sealant applied at the joint per skylight and roofing manufacturer requirements. Fasteners consisting of screws with neoprene washers secure the skylight flashing to the curb assembly.
