A four-inch diameter galvanized steel pipe anchor is welded solid on top with a four-inch diameter by one-quarter-inch galvanized steel fin using a one-quarter-inch fillet weld. The pipe anchor is welded with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld to a two-foot by two-foot by one-quarter-inch galvanized metal base plate, which is screwed down to the roof deck at three inches on center with number fourteen by two-inch screws. Each leg of the metal ladder is through-bolted with a one-half-inch diameter by one-inch machine bolt to the steel fin. The interior of the pipe is filled with spray foam insulation through a one-half-inch diameter hole. A PVC pipe boot is fully adhered to the single-ply roofing and secured with a stainless steel drawband, featuring a full bed of sealant between the pipe and boot with the top sloped to shed water.
