The guardrail assembly mounts to the top of a floor slab with vertical balusters spaced to prevent the passage of a four-inch diameter sphere up to a height of thirty-four inches. The top guard rail is positioned at a height of three feet six inches above the finished floor, while an attached hand rail is mounted at three feet. Individual balusters and members feature one-inch diameters with one-and-a-half-inch spacing configurations.
