A cable tray carrying electrical cables penetrates through a concrete masonry unit wall partition. Mineral wool insulation is tightly packed into the wall opening around the cables and tray. Firestop sealant is applied at the cable tray and gypsum board interface on both sides of the wall in compliance with Underwriters Laboratories system number W-J-4059.
