Rigid insulation is installed beneath a continuous reinforced membrane that wraps around the roof curb. Seam fastening plates secure the membrane layers, fastened twelve inches on center with cut-edge sealant applied at edges. A metal cap or counter flashing is installed at the top of the curb per the manufacturer specifications.
