A continuous steel J-runner ties the gypsum board partition into the hollow metal frame at the partition head. Gypsum board panels finish both sides of the partition and align with the frame profile according to dimensioned offsets. The partition type and overall width vary to suit specific wall assemblies. Dimensions locate the gypsum board termination and frame reveals relative to the wall centerline.
