A 1/2-inch tempered butt glazed glass panel rail system is installed at the threshold between a steam sauna and a wet spa. The glass is secured within a sill shoe anchored to the floor slab using expansion anchors set through a mortar bed and a waterproof membrane. Backer rod and sealant are applied to both sides of the base to maintain a watertight seal at the floor finish transition.
