The assembly features galvanized steel bar grate stair treads supported by galvanized L 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch by 1/8 inch angles welded to each side of the C12 by 20.7 galvanized channel stringer. Galvanized closure panels are installed at the tread ends. The stringer is anchored to the concrete loading dock ramp using an angle welded to the stringer and secured with an expansion bolt. A 1 1/2 inch diameter galvanized steel pipe guardrail is positioned at the top of the stair run with a 1 inch clearance from the stringer assembly.
