An exploded view of a single-gang electrical box assembly consists of a four-inch square box that is one and one-half inches deep, such as a Raco number two thirty-two or equivalent. A four-inch square extension ring of the same depth follows, specified as a Raco number two hundred three or two hundred four or equivalent. The assembly is capped by a four-inch square single-gang cover, also referred to as a plaster ring, with a depth determined by the wallboard thickness. Associated symbol boxes for TV, A, IR, OA, and AP are included for coordination.
