Metal trim is installed at the outside corner of a wall assembly as scheduled, transitioning between tile set on a thin-set mortar bed. The tile and thin-set mortar apply directly to the wall construction. The metal trim provides a clean edge protection for the tile finish per specification 09 30 00.
