A control joint is formed in a concrete slab with a depth of T over 4 or one and one-quarter inches minimum. The concrete slab is reinforced with number 3 bars spaced at eighteen inches on center, matching the truck court slab thickness unless noted otherwise. The slab bears on a twelve-inch layer of compacted fill placed over geotextile reinforcement.
