A cast-in-place or precast concrete wall panel section contains the typical internal reinforcing arrangement and bottom recess detail. Vertical reinforcing bars run continuously through the panel thickness, with a two-foot-six-inch minimum lap splice length. Horizontal reinforcement consists of number five bars spaced at ten inches on center across the full width of the panel. The base of the wall features an architectural recess detailed per architectural drawings, reinforced with two continuous number five bars at the bottom corner and additional number five bars spaced at ten inches on center.
