A four-inch concrete pavement is reinforced with six by six W1.4 by W1.4 welded wire fabric placed at mid-depth over lean concrete fill extending down to the local frost depth. The slab receives a broom finish with a four-inch tooled edge around the perimeter. A half-inch expansion board with a removable cap and continuous sealant separates the stoop from the adjacent structure. Elevation markers denote finish grades and threshold heights for drainage and transition.
