An interior curtain wall system frames into a metal stud partition wall at the jamb. The partition wall is constructed with two six-inch metal studs sistered at the jamb, finished with five-eighths-inch gypsum board on both sides and filled with R-19 batt insulation. Shims are installed as required between the partition framing and the curtain wall mullion. Continuous colored sealant and backer rod are applied at both sides of the joint between the curtain wall and the interior partition.
