Vertical concrete curb sections at landscape planters and adjacent to a new transformer feature a six-inch height above asphalt concrete finish grade, a one-inch set, and a half-inch typical radius as shown. Three-quarter-inch PVC weep holes are spaced at six feet on center through the curb base. Backfill is specified full height behind the curb, with straight-run expansion joints required at forty-foot intervals and weakened plane joints at ten-foot intervals.
