A recessed fluorescent light fixture is integrated into a suspended ceiling grid consisting of main structural runners spaced four feet on center and perpendicular cross tees. Twelve-gauge fixture support wires secure the center ends of each fixture to the overhead structure. Twelve-gauge lateral support wires attach within three inches of each fixture corner, splayed outward and fastened to a beam or purlin. Each connection point requires a minimum of three wire turns.
