A schedule 40 steel pipe bollard is filled with concrete and topped with a dome top, measuring three feet in height with a diameter of six inches. The exposed surface is painted safety yellow. The pipe is welded to a one-half inch steel plate secured to a concrete slab using four expansion bolts installed per manufacturer recommendations, designed for an impact criteria of 10,000 pounds at 4 miles per hour.
