A fall protection tie-off anchor fastens to wood blocking located between roof framing members per structural requirements. The metal base plate rests over a self-adhered air barrier and vapor retarder applied directly to plywood sheathing. Rigid insulation and an insulation cover board surround the anchor post beneath the roof membrane. A pre-fabricated flashing boot seals the base, secured at the top with a stainless steel clamping ring and a continuous sealant bead, and hot-air welded to the surrounding roof membrane at its base.
