A concrete stair tread features a slip-resistive nosing with a one-half inch maximum radius at the outer corner and three-quarter inch maximum radius at the inner tread-riser junction. Grooves form the slip-resistive nosing directly into the concrete tread surface. The assembly rests above a concrete foundation slab.
