A structural steel column is enclosed in a granite cladding assembly measuring three feet five and one-quarter inches square. The cladding consists of Temple White granite panels set with three-eighths inch joints filled with backer rod and sealant. Overall dimensions and individual panel widths, including seven and nine-sixteenths inch and one-foot seven and nine-sixteenth inch segments, coordinate the stone layout around the central column.
