This partition wall junction details the intersection of a metal stud partition with an adjacent wall or column. The assembly consists of metal studs faced with five-eighths-inch gypsum board on the exterior and lined with acoustic batt insulation within the stud cavity. Optional tile finishes and overall wall widths are coordinated per partition notes.
